1. A machine with a cartridge
In the device, the mechanism responsible for inserting the needle into the tissue is the motor, while the spring fixed in the cartridge is responsible for the exit of the needle from the tissue. By setting the speed of the device to 120 beats per second, we are not able to work stably and precisely because there is no spring in the world that could bounce up to 120 times in such a short time as 1 second.
The device can work in tissue up to a depth of 0.2 mm; However, it is not the right depth for the pigment placement when it comes to permanent make-up treatment. In PMU treatment, the pigment should be introduced to a depth of 0.50 mm.
Such depth ensures the persistence of the pigment in the tissue for more than 1.5 years and is a successful pigmentation; the pigment located in the tissue at a depth of 0.20 mm will be almost invisible after three months. The 0.20 mm tissue depth area is within the range of both UVA and UVB radiation.
Of course, it is possible to pigment shallowly and the treatment can be repeated, repeated and repeated. Nevertheless, it should be remembered that every stinging we deal with during pigmentation is the loss of a percentage of melanocytes irretrievably; the damaged melanocyte nucleus does not rebuild, the skin tone becomes cold.
In addition, the price level of PMU treatments on the market should provide our clients with longer durability than henna, which costs 20 PLN.
Working with a cartridge machine at a depth of 0.50 mm is unstable and imprecise, a lacerated wound is formed, in the tissue we see ellipses instead of points.
2. Machine with a rigid needle (acupuncture)
In the machine, the movement of the needle is generated by an circular driven by a motor. However, when the needle exists the tissue, a negative pressure is created; skin tugging is visible. As in the case of cartridge devices, acupuncture machines cannot cope with precise and stable operation at a depth of more than 0.2 mm.
In a tattoo, this defect is not so important because the precision of the shading obtained on various tattoo elements is not as required as on the eyebrow arch.
The quality of the shading of the tattoo in photo no. 1 is very good, however, if the shading area is the same size as the eyebrow ridge, then the shading is poor.
What is acceptable in a tattoo is not acceptable in permanent makeup.
3. ODED – 3-needle machine:
A technology that guarantees precise and stable operation at a depth of both 0.20 and 0.5 and up to 1 mm. The holes visible in the tissue are round with a diameter of 0.10 mm, the pigment is located at one constant depth, the tissue is not lacerated.
Such pigmentation guarantees:
– the effect of correct shading,
– pigment lasting more than 1.5 years,
– very fast work without tearing the tissue.
The 3-needle pigmentation system works well in any work technique, such as: pendulum (hand swinging), away from you, towards yourself, a whisk or circles.
The handle is heavier than the aluminum handle, thanks to which the person performing the procedure does not have to concentrate his attention on pressing the device to The skin during the procedure, he can only focus on the appropriate stretching of the tissue and the pigmentation itself. It is enough to bring the device closer to the tissue to start pigmentation and the needle “floats in the skin like on water”.
The device is made of surgical stainless steel, on purpose, although both the steel itself and its processing are much more expensive than aluminum.
